Project Management

Project management is merely a tool to ensure for NIS to meet the business demands of our clients whilst achieving the defined results and goals – both in terms of quality, deadlines and results.

NIS has a practical approach to projects, but is also open to adjustments of our methods and procedures, as long as it improves quality or results for our customers,

Nordic Insurance Software projects are driven by our project managers in regards of timelines and resources, while deliverables and quality is handled by our consultancy department. All projects are handled in close coordination between these two departments with a very clear role distinction between Project Management and Consultancy.

Nordic Insurance Software projects consist of the following phases based on the project character and scope.

• Solution outline and analysis phase
• Development phase
• Implementation phase
• System, test, QA and training phase
• Roll-out
• Post implementation and hyper care phase

Projects need not consist of all phases. I.e. development is not necessary in all projects. Based on our standard applications all setup of functionality may be handled through configuration in a implementation phase.

The project management team

Our project management team has experiences from sales (policy and service), claims and assistance handling.
